Cannabidiol (commonly known as CBD) one of at least 113 active cannabinoids found within the cannabis or hemp plant. Our pioneering friends at DAIBA use a cold extraction process to ensure that every drop of goodness ends up in the oil.
The plants they choose for their oil have a high CBD profile and low/traceable THC content. THC is the chemical compound which – when heat is applied – will produce psychoactive effects, whereas CBD rich plants do not produce such effect.
DAIBA CBD oil is perfectly safe to use and cannot cause any psychoactive effects. The Human endocannabinoid system is one of the most important regulatory systems in the human body but we do little to give it a boost! Until now.
We should also mention the following… This bar is a food supplement containing vitamins and minerals: should be taken as part of a varied diet and healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed 200mg CBD in 24hr period. Keep out of the reach of children. Bar should last 7 days with typical CBD consumption.4

Despite the higher percentage for a dark milk chocolate, the base chocolate feels light on the tongue with plenty of natural fruity flavours and biscuity notes, think Pina Colada or perhaps tropical Apple Pie! Gran Nativo Blanco translates into “Grand Native White”. It is a very special and elegant cacao with a high proportion of white beans- Hidden for more than a century, this gem from nature was rediscovered in 2008 on the small cacao fields by San Juan de Bigotes, in Piura, North of Peru.
With the support of Cooperative Norandino the smallholder’s cacao farmers of the region identified the best cacao trees and reintroduced this ancient cacao varietal. Today, Gran Nativo Blanco is the most awarded cacao from Peru and is recognized for its delicate flavours, aroma’s and fragrances.

~99% of the global chocolate trade uses the same type of cacao: easy to grow, high yield, very poor flavour profile. This is why dark chocolate is typically cheap & tastes bitter: it‘s an industrial product, chemically processed and farmed under horrific conditions. Even Fair Trade is not effective for most cacao famers, so we avoid that industry.
Solkiki assess a lot of fine flavour cacao and source the best via a very short chain. Direct trade protects vulnerable rainforests and wildlife while improving the lives of farming communities and quality of cacao long-term. As a bonus, Solkiki’s minimal-process, bean-to-bar approach creates delicious chocolate! We remove the middlemen and encourage farmers to grow these fickle trees, promoting equality, biodiversity, sustainability, nutrition and flavour.
