1. Composed of high-quality carbon steel which has high hardness and strength and wear-resistance, suitable for ceaselessly high-temperature pressing.
2. Widely used for pressing many kinds of oilseeds, such as peanut, soybean, sesame, flax seed, cottonseed, sunflower, etc; popular among small or medium size mills and plants.
3. With the properly designed pressing chamber, the pre-heating process and rotation of the machine quickly increase the temperature in the chamber, which makes the inner structure of oilseeds broken and pressed easily.
4. Save labor and energy. Compared to the traditional type, Screw oil press reduces 60% electric power and saves 40% labor.
About Safflower Seed Oil Press Feeder
The screw oil press feeder is not just simply reversed fastigiated container to let the material drop down itself, but there are a screw device and a stirring rod. When you turn on the oil press and put the materials into the feeder, the screw device will turn round to help feed the materials to go down the chamber of the oil press smoothly. This device avoids blocking in the feed inlet and the stirring rod also has a certain effect on mixing the materials before pressing oil.
What is Safflower Oil?
♦ Safflower is a highly branched, herbaceous, thistle-like annual.
It is commercially cultivated for vegetable oil extracted from the seeds. Plants are 30 to 150 cm (12 to 59 in) tall with globular flower heads having yellow, orange, or red flowers. Each branch will usually have from one to five flower heads containing 15 to 20 seeds per head. Safflower is native to arid environments having seasonal rain. It grows a deep taproot which enables it to thrive in such environments.
♦ Safflower is one of humanity’s oldest crops.
Safflower was also known as carthamine in the nineteenth century.
♦ Safflower seed oil is flavorless and colorless, and nutritionally similar to sunflower oil.
It is used mainly in cosmetics and as cooking oil, in salad dressing, and for the production of margarine. It may also be taken as a nutritional supplement. Safflower seed is also used quite commonly as an alternative to sunflower seed in birdfeeders, as squirrels do not like the taste of it.
♦ There are two types of safflower that produce different kinds of oil
one high in monounsaturated fatty acid (oleic acid) and the other high in polyunsaturated fatty acid (linoleic acid). For diet use, high–linoleic safflower oil has also been shown to increase adiponectin, a protein that helps regulate blood glucose levels and fatty-acid breakdown.
